India is symbolized by the plurality of its culture and has many strands to its cultural heritage, which need to survive, grow and evolve as living cultures. But the fast paced socio-economic development, environmental changes, advent of new technologies, increased influence of western culture, pose unprecedented threats to the continuity and sustainability of Indian culture, values and heritage. Increasing awareness of these threats is essential to not only preserve the traditions and culture, but also to reinvigorate the cultural identity. Thus, to promote lateral thinking amongst children, youngsters and elderly and motivate them to contribute in the preservation and promotion of Indian culture and values we initiated the project "Sanskritik Sangrakshan".

Activities Covered under the Project:

  • Promote lateral thinking amongst children, youngsters and elderly and motivate them to contribute in the preservation and promotion of Indian culture and values
  • Conduct seminars in schools and colleges on themes such as "Integration of Culture and Arts in School Curriculum", "Role of Youth in Promotion and Protection of Indian culture", etc. to make the youth understand their role in Culture Protection and Promotion
  • Inculcate a sense of togetherness amongst the people and make them understand the significance of festivals in true spirit by celebrating Indian festivals such as Barsane style Holi, Dussehra, Navratri, Ganpati Mahotsav, etc.
